Right part of a relief plaque possibly covering a statue base. It was found in 1862 in the Theatre of Dionysos.

To the viewer’s right Dionysos is represented clad in short chiton, nebris, chlamys and high shoes. In his hands he holds an amphora and a kantharos, typical wine vessels and symbols of the god. To the left stands a woman dressed in chiton and himation that covers her head. With her right hand she throws incense into an incense burner (thymiaterion) hardly discerned on the plaque’s left broken side, whereas with the left she holds some other object, perhaps a box that contained the incense.
